· By quality grade: A, B, C, D, E, etc. Different quality grades vary in terms of impact toughness, content of harmful elements, and other aspects.
· By application: structural steel for construction, steel for machinery manufacturing, steel for bridges, steel for ships, etc
High strength: The yield strength is generally above 300MPa. For example, the yield strength of Q355 is 355MPa or higher, and that of Q460 is 460MPa or higher. They can bear large loads and reduce the weight and size of structural parts.
· High toughness: The elongation is generally 15%-20%, with good room-temperature impact toughness. For large welded components, they also have high fracture toughness, making them less prone to brittle fracture when subjected to impact loads.
